Beginning with the 2025 - 2026 season the annual ski assessment will be conducted during a half-day group ski lesson. All hosts are expected to register and complete a lesson.
Hosts will take a half day group lesson to confirm they are qualified to lead tours. There is no charge to the hosts for these lessons.
Hosts can sign up for the lesson level that matches, or stretches your ability.
Hosts will need to achieve a level 6/7 rating. This confirms a host's ability to ski a variety of blue groomed runs with confidence. After your lesson, the ski instructor will submit a report card containing a quick review of skills assessed and things to think about working on. The instructor will also list the host's ski level rating. The report card will be emailed to you.
If a rating falls below level 6/7 additional lessons are available free of charge.

- Schedule your lessons at least 2 days prior to the desired date. Lessons are 9:30 am to 12 noon with a recommended check-in time of 9:15am.
- There are 5 slots available each day Monday - Friday and 3 slots available on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Weekend lesson slots are reserved for those folks who are still working and cannot attend during the week

- If you are unable to attend the lessons in December. Alternate dates will be available in January and communicated at a later time.
- After the lesson is over you will be e-mailed a report card. Please forward a copy of the e-mail to Pam to verify lesson completion.
